Attract a younger workforce and be more welcoming to families With the help of local leaders supportive of economic growth, we will work to collaborate on projects that build more vibrant activity and town centers.
Strengthen public and private sector collaboration to build stronger communities We will look to create and execute a shared strategic plan between town officials and private sector leaders for community and economic growth. Strengthen and retain existing businesses in key target sectors Expanding the economic base will not only add jobs, but will also attract companies in similar sectors or those that support those sectors. Promote new business start—ups and entrepreneurship on the South Shore We will work on strategies that encourage business growth and enhancing business education and mentoring programs. Recruit new businesses to the region The South Shore’s expected growth is a favorable opportunity to attract business relocation. Improve our infrastructure capacity We will continue to focus on enhanced intra– and inter-regional mobility that will sustain and increase growth in the region. |
