Navigating the Chamber LIVE - Monthly
This 90-minute orientation program will show members old and new how best to maximize their Chamber membership, as well as learning how to use the online member dashboard.
Meet the CEO - Monthly
This is an informal small group lunch gathering with South Shore Chamber leadership and business people in the region. The lunch is a chance to meet some colleagues in the area and to share some information about the business climate and economic growth on the South Shore. Seating is limited to one representative per company.
Hogtoberfest 2: Battle of the BBQ - October
When chefs do battle - we all win! Members & guests can vote for their favorite BBQ while also enjoying apple and cranberry side dishes and craft beer from local breweries.
Coffee Connections - 6x/year
Quick 1-hour morning meetings, hosted by a Chamber member. These are smaller in size and more intimate than a traditional after hours event.
Business After Hours - Quarterly
After work networking at a local business with light food and cash bar. No charge for SSCC members.
Ribbon Cuttings - As requested (based on availability)
Whether celebrating the opening of a new business, relocation, or milestone anniversary, the SSCC is excited about business success. As a value-added benefit of membership, we’re happy to help offer assistance with your event. Additional fees apply.

Both the local affiliated Chambers and our Business Councils hold quick coffee meetings with local town officials, planners, and others for updates on what is in the works.
Human Resources - 5x/year
The Human Resources Group present 90-minute morning programs on hot topics in HR. Includes Employment Law Update, a half-day legal update provided by Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane, LLP and a 3-Part Series on current important HR issues.
Non-Profits - 5x/year
NPO professionals come together to share common challenges in best practices. Includes Annual Meeting, Bagels & Best Practices, and topical workshops.
General Business Help
Health & Wellness Fair - May
40 healthy vendors educate and demonstrate at our Health & Wellness Fair held at the YMCA.
Summer Passport - June through September
Eat out at local restaurants on the South Shore, get your "passport" stamped, and enter to win the chance to win a $50 gift card from one of the participating restaurants. Passports can be found at any of the 23 restaurants, at the Chamber office, or one can be mailed to you.
