South Shore Chamber to relocate HQ to Rockland
The South Shore Chamber of Commerce, the region’s largest Chamber, will relocate its headquarters from
Quincy to Rockland in June of this year.
South Shore Chamber of Commerce CEO Peter Forman made the announcement, saying that the Chamber’s new home
will be at 1050 Hingham Street (Route 228), Rockland, with convenient access to the Route 3 (Exit 14) interchange.
Forman said, “In planning the relocation, we took into account that we serve businesses and communities across the entire South Shore, and our membership extends from Quincy to Plymouth and beyond.” He added, “The Rockland location is a convenient and central setting, and will help us as we look to strengthen and grow our membership throughout the South Shore.”
Forman said the Chamber’s Board of Directors and leadership believe that the location will provide a central, highly visible, easily accessible and well-branded location for its members to meet, gather and work.

The Chamber will host an Open House later this year to welcome members and visitors to the new location. “We are very excited to be coming to Rockland,” said Forman, noting, “This is geographically central to our footprint and in an area that holds the great potential for growth of membership.” He added, “We are not aligned with any one city or town and will continue to hold events and work to promote economic growth throughout our region as we have in the past.”
