Give the gift of business.
If you usually frequent a business, buy a gift card that your usual patronage. Use them later or give them away as gifts to people who haven't experienced something you enjoy. |
Buy now and pick-up later.
If you planned on buying a product sold in the area, give that business a call. Pay for the item and have them set it aside for you to pick up at a later date. Or, if they have an online store, order! |
Ask how you can help.
If you know the owners or employees of a business or organization personally, drop them a line and ask how you can help them. They might have ideas for how you can help that's specific for their business. They may not need anything but the outreach will mean a lot. |
Keep your memberships.
If you have a subscription or membership to a gym, exercise class, music lessons, dance studio, etc., keep it going. Many small businesses rely on that support to keep their doors open and pay their bills. Your continued support can literally save their business. |
