How and when did the company get started?
2020 - my husband is a contractor and was frequently being asked for Realtor referrals and told me that he thought I'd be great at it and really enjoy it. I had a corporate job in Finance but really missed interacting with people and decided to pursue my real estate license. What products or services do you offer? I help people buy and sell real estate on the South Shore. I am well versed in what I refer to as "life change" sales such as probate sales, divorce sales, etc. My goal is to make a challenging time a little bit easier. I work with first time buyers, first time sellers, Veterans, etc. Here to help! What’s the one thing your business is known for, over your competitors and why? I am so passionate about what I do and how I help my clients. It's not a "job" to me - its being a resource for people when they are making a major financial investment or transaction. I have a background in Finance, understand the financial implications, and truly care about getting you either the most for the sale of your home or the best deal possible with the purchase of a home. Tell us an interesting and fun tidbit about your business. My husband encouraged me to get my real estate license because he was frequently being asked for Realtor referrals from his clients (he's a contractor) and since getting my license he hasn't sent me a single client. I love to tease him about this. Why did you decide to become involved with the Chamber? I love how much the South Shore Chamber does in our community and had a major case of FOMO. I love meeting new people and contributing to the community so being a member is a win-win for me. Women in Local Leadership Kick Off We launched February with the first Women in Local Leadership Speaker Series of the year, featuring Susan Davis of SHD Marketing, and facilitated by Lauren Del’Ollio from South Shore YMCA. Susan shared her inspiring journey as a business owner leading a team of creative women dedicated to supporting local businesses with strategic marketing. Listen to previous WiLL sessions here. This designation comes with a $130,000 grant to reinvest in our community, supporting local organizations, non-profits, and fellow chambers. Learn about REDO here. Navigating the Chamber: More Sessions! Due to overwhelming interest, we hosted two Navigating the Chamber member orientation sessions this quarter instead of our usual one. Looking to maximize your membership benefits and learn how to use the Members Only Area? Join us for the next session on April 9 at 9:00 AM at the Chamber! Register here. |
