Ensuring excellence among educational programs at the Chamber by vetting of Content and People, Marketing content, Pricing, Coordination, Collaboration, Bringing Courses online, Finding topics/presenters from among the membership, establishing a speakerÃ¢??s bureau.
Recommend and implement an annual operating budget to the Board of Directors, reviewing internal controls, and monitor financial trends.
Monitor federal, state and local government initiatives, regulation, mandates that impact the South Shore businesses, industries and educate membership on those topics.
Encourage education, participation, mentoring and networking for those charged with responsibility for human resources within any size company. The HRG offers programming and services to met the needs of both senior level human resource practitioner and entry level practitioner who may have other responsibilities in their company.
Monitor (and make recommendations of modification to) the Chamber investments, employee benefit plans and policies based on Board and Executive Committee strategy.
Annually review Chamber operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and other mandates.
Oversee Chamber Partnership Program benefits, programming, and recruitment.
