2009 Ambassador Recognition Awards |

Each year the Ambassador Group acknowledges three of its members with three awards: Ambassador of the Year which goes to the Ambassador who contributed to their team, the group and the Chamber as a whole; a new Ambassador who made the greatest contribution to the group will receive Rookie of the Year; and the 7th Player Award is given to the "unsung hero" of the Ambassador Group and is voted on by the members of the committee.

Ambassador of the Year
Jeff Poirier, Quincy Memorials, Inc.
In Jeff's second year as an Ambassador, he excelled as part of the Retention team by saving over 70 members and attending over 20 Chamber events. He is also the Quincy Business Council's Chair for 2010.
Jeff currently works at Quincy Memorials, Inc. and is 4th generation along with his brother, Bryan Poirier. He has been working there full time for almost 4 years. “We are strictly focused on expansion, development, efficiency and taking care of our clients is our #1 priority.”

Rookie of the Year
Mark Rogers, The Rogers Law Firm
Mark's first year as an Ambassador was spent rotating through the three teams - Retention, Recruitment and Relationship. In his short time with each team, he recruited four new members and had over 30 saves. Mark is currently serving his first year on the Board of Directors, as well.
Mark is a member of The Rogers Law Firm's Corporate, Health Care and International Practice Groups. He has published and lectured extensively on legal issues in the health care industry. Mark is Co-Editor of The Boston Health Law Reporter, and is also an adjunct faculty member at New England Law Boston where he teaches Health Law.

7th Player Award
Jenifer Pinkham, Schlossberg & Associates, LLC
As chair of the Retention Team, Jenifer not only kept her team on track and focused allowing them to retain over 450 members but she also saved 100 members and brought in a new member, as well. Jenifer is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Ambassador Group and Chair for the Braintree Business Council.
Jenifer focuses her practice in civil and business litigation, employment law matters and estate administration. On behalf of individuals, corporations, partnerships and non-profit organizations, she has successfully handled litigation matters involving real estate, business contracts, consumer protection, professional malpractice, products liability, probate matters and employment.
